Explore all of Hogwarts to recruit Dumbledore’s Army, overthrow Umbridge and prepare to fight Voldemort and his Death Eaters.
Bringing the entire Hogwarts castle to life through streaming was a mammoth task and took quite a few engineers and artists to make it a reality. My involvement in this task was primarily focused on the physics systems, navigation and AI.
The implementation of the moving navigation networks in the grand staircase is probably the part I remember the most since it took a lot to get them working. The first working version came into existence at 5am on a Friday morning it’s amazing what happens when you just can’t sleep.
